fat body (in)visible

Hellloooo my beautiful babies!!!

I know I've been horrible neglectful of you and I'm still sorry but not enough to really do much about it quite yet.

I've been a busy girl!  I was recently in a documentary produced by Margitte Kristjansson and a lot of you new followers are probably here because you've already seen it, BUT in the off chance you haven't, here it is!!!

I have non fat related topics to discuss soon because you know I'm sure you're all fatted out for a bit ;)

Thank you for giving a shit about the things I have to say :)

  1. I love this documentary! I really needed to see it because I don't live in a place where there are a lot, if any, bigger girls like me who are confident or just damn happy! Watching it really changed my perspective on a few things like having people watching you and not even realizing it. I'm more aware of my surroundings now.

  2. that was amazing! it blows me away that people will just come up to you and make those comments that they have made. you are beautiful, and that is just dumb that anyone would treat another person like that. gosh what's wrong with people. they think just because were fat that we don't have feelings or that we aren't people. jeeze.

  4. This was incredibly well done and I would love to see it on a more global stage; in other words, let's get this at the film festivals and expose it as much as possible. Bravo ladies!

  6. Hi! I've just seen the documentary with you and keena & I love'd it! What you said about the miss piggy-thingy really was a "HELL YEAH!"-moment for me, that has happend sooo many times for me, beeing harast just for existing! I mean, how can it be OK to bull someone like that? I've never seen one getting bullied cuz they have cancer, like "ha-ha, you're gonna die soon!", but when it comes to fat people, its more than ok to talk (shit) about them, cuz they are'nt human, they're objects.

Anywhoo, the reason why I visit your blog after seeing the documentary was because I just had to tell you that you look sooooooooo fucking good, damn girl! ;) (and sorry for my bad english writing, im swedish!) LOVE!

  7. And I love both of you in the documentary. Both of you are so brave, putting yourself out there to relay a message and I am very touched by it.

  8. Hello:
I'm just beginning on my fat acceptance journey. Every time I look at your blog, especially the pictures of your outfits, I get totally inspired to really play with clothing and to think outside the mental box of what I "can" wear. Also I have to rush off and practice applying eyeliner and make up every time I go to your blog. You are just absolutely gorgeous! I love the way you dress. Thanks for just being and for having a blog. Visiting your blog makes me feel more beautiful for some reason. It's really really freeing and exciting to realize there's all this stuff that I can play with that I never would have thought of before. Thank you so much!!!!!

  10. My friend posted this video on FB which is how I found out about your blog. At 40, I'm still struggling to accept myself. Yet again, I started a program to lose weight and yet again, not one pound has been lost. I'm hoping that by reading your blog and several other FA sites, I will learn to love myself at any size. Thanks for your candidness and activism.

  11. this was such an amazing inspiring doco, i feel so good after watching this and feel hopeful that 'society' changes their way of thinking one mind at a time if at least one anti-fat person watches this with an open mind.

  14. Thanks for this. I'd never really thought about the visible / invisible thing before. I spend a lot of time making myself invisible, I hadn't realized that before. I'm not even close to accepting myself, but I'd like to. This helps.
